Crispi Summit II GTX

The Crispi Summit II GTX boot checks all the boxes for every major need while hunting, trekking or backpacking.

Crispi Summit PUTek

The Summit ll utilizes a combination of high quality suede leather and an advanced synthetic material called PUtek which consists of a nylon base woven with threads of polyurethane. Basically, the PUTek helps make this boot fairly abrasion resistant.

This high-resistance fabric is lined with a full surround Gore-Tex® Performance bootie to ensure maximum waterproof and breathability. These two materials help create a boot that is highly breathable, fully waterproof and incredibly resistant to punctures.

The mix of the PUTek, leather, and Gore-Tex® makes this boot durable, protective, yet also more breathable than a typical full-leather boot. Now always remember: no matter what it's made out of, whether is leather, mesh or some other synthetic material, as soon as you add a waterproof membrane from any company to a boot it instantly becomes hotter (We'll talk more about this later).

Crispi Summit II Rand

A full wrap around polyurethane coated leather rand is triple stitched with highly abrasion resistant dyneema thread to protect the boot from external impacts and abrasive rocks often encountered while sidehilling.

We love the stitched leather rands. It protects just as well as a typical rubber rand does, sometimes even better. Plus you have the added benefit of the stitching which helps prevent the age old problem of a rubber rand peeling. We've still see a leather rand peeling, but it takes a lot more use and abuse before that happens.

The midsole is built with very lightweight dual density EVA foam providing great shock absorbing capabilities. Rounding out the bottom of the boot features our joint-venture Vibram® designed sole with their Super-Grip sole compound. The tread pattern is designed to provide maximum grip and stability to keep you secure in uneven, wet or tricky terrain like a blowdown forest.

This is one of Crispi's favorite soles to use. It is on a majority of their boots and we can understand why. It offers great traction on rough terrains and is very light. Vibram® soles are very durable and last a good while. But like all good things, it will eventually wear way. Luckily, like all Crispi boots you can resole the Summit II.

Weighing in at 1.5 lbs per boot, the Summit II continues the Crispi tradition of light but durable hiking and hunting boots. The feel of these boots is typical Crispi comfort, ready to go right out of the box.
