Meet the new Zamberlan Baltoro!

The Zamberlan Baltoro is your perfect go to multipurpose boot. Designed for backcountry, backpacking, and hunting.

The uppers of this boot are made from tough and durable Perwanger® leather which goes through a number of quality tests before being used to enhance a boot. Perwanger® leather goes through two tanning processes and a sanding procedure before it's ready to be used in boots. This gives the boot it's unique look and feel (and allows for the leather to be dyed some cool colors!).

If you want to learn more about what make Perwanger® leather so great, you can check out their webiste at https://perwangerleather.com/en/.

This boot features a rubber toe and heel rand that are coated in polyurethane make it tougher and more resiliant than an average rubber rand.

The sole is the exclusive Zamberlan Vibram® Starlite outsole. The Vibram® Starlite sole has lugs that are purpose designed for high traction (that means you shouldn't have to worry about slipping out in the mountains).

The Baltoro is built on Zamberlan's tried and true ZBPK backpacking last. It's their most popular last featuring "excellent heel grip, comfortable over-the-top foot wrap, and a roomy toebox"(zamberlanusa.com). In essence, it hugs your feet like it was made for them and gives you a little wriggle room for your toes.

Our overall consensus has been that this boot fits a little on the large side and having to go down a half size is not uncommon.

This boot weighs in at 620 grams (or 1.4 lbs for those of us who don't use the Imperial system), making it super light weight. But this boot is anything but a light weight. It'll take you wherever you need to go.

Featuring a Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane, you can trust your feet will stay dry on long adventures.

The Baltoro is built and handcrafted in Italy, like most of Zamberlan's line of shoes.
