Danner Wildland Fire NFPA
Danner's all-new Wildland Tactical Firefighter blends the lightweight and supportive benefits of an alpine hiker with the stringent standards of an NFPA-certified boot. Featuring fire-resistant, durable, rough-out leather and a breathable mesh lining, the boot is handcrafted in Danner's Portland, Oregon, factory with a reinforced opanka-stitch construction that provides a superior bond between the upper and outsole. The durable, Vibram S587 outsole is specially designed for oil- and slip-resistant traction over rugged and high-angle terrain.
- Fire Resistant Leather Upper - Chemically treated to be fire resistant, the leather on our Wildland Tactical Firefighter features natural, long-lasting durability.
- Vibram® S587 Fire & Ice outsole - Ideal for rugged and high-angle terrain with an oil-and slip-resistant compound that still maintains traction in extreme cold and hot environments.
- Extended Sizes - To accommodate more people, Danner ahs made this boot in extended sizes. We recommend women select 1.5 to 2 full sizes down for correct fit.
- WTF Platform Construction - For optimal rigidity and stability underfoot, Danner combines a full-length polypropylene board with an integrated steel shank in this construction method.
- How It Fits - The 851 last is an update to Danner's popular 850 last. This last fits true to size with an athletic and supportive fit while providing ample room in the toe. Offering a specific heel shape that locks the heel in place for better fit and comfort on the back end of the boot, this supportive fit is ideal for those needing high mileage performance from their gear.
- 365-Day Warranty - If you suspect your purchase isn’t up to Danner's unrelenting standards, or is defective in any way, we want to make things right. Danner offer a 365-day warranty across their entire footwear line.

Made in USA with Imported Components
Danner sources the best materials from around the world and utilize some construction work overseas before shipping partially assembled components to be finished in their Portland, Oregon factory. Once in Danner's factory, the boot uppers are formed and the entire bottom of the boot is constructed by hand, giving them greater control over the finished product. This manufacturing process allows Danner to bring you a less expensive USA made boot without compromising the quality you expect from Danner.
